Overview
Request an additional WAP to be installed, separate from a remodel or new construction project.
Eligibility/Cost
Any faculty or staff member can request an additional WAP to be installed. A quote will need to be generated based on several factors. The costs will range from $500 to $1200 for the access point, and the line charge is $250. All wireless access points require a network line be run to them.
Getting Started
Once a request is made, Network Services will look at the area to see if a new WAP is actually needed or if something is interfering with the existing wireless. If it is determined a new WAP is needed we will generate a quote for the installation.
