Overview
A University-labeled Google Group can be used to communicate with a specific group of people who have a common goal. A University-labeled Google Group could be used to generate a "generic" email address for a specific group (i.e. admissions@harding.edu) when more than one person needs to receive the email messages.
Eligibility
Any Harding employee may request a University-labeled Google group. A request is not a guarantee that a group will be created. Harding's Google administrator will determine if a University-labeled Google group is the best Google application for the requested service.
Getting Started
Click on "Request Service" to request a University-labeled Google Group.
Additional Resources
If it is determined that a University-labeled Google Group is not the best fit for your need, you may create a standard Google Group that has the extension -grp in the name (i.e. SocialClub-grp@harding.edu). A standard Google Group does not need approval from a Google administrator.
