Overview
A username change may be requested by an employee with a legal name change due to marriage, divorce, adoption, or equivalent changes in life circumstances. Harding's official username format is the first letter of legal first name, plus last name, and a sequential number where that pattern already exists. Vanity username changes are not covered under this request, and IS&T reserves the right to deny requests.
Upon requesting a username change, a representative from IS&T will reach out to the requester to arrange a time to conduct the proposed change. This change will require the user to be logged out of ALL University technology systems for up to an hour while being processed.
