Overview
When you or your office need to acquire a new or replacement copier, here are the steps.
Harding uses Quality Office, Inc. in Searcy to purchase and maintain copiers. Funding normally comes from departmental operational budgets, although already allocated baseline Technology Fee funds can be used.
Procedure
When you have or foresee a need, contact the Finance Office to discuss whether the machine should be purchased or leased. When that decision is made and the funding arranged, the Finance Office will help with ordering the copier.
Once it has been purchased, the eLearning department takes over paying the annual maintenance fee to Quality. That is based on the number of copies (black & white or color) and includes toner, all service calls, preventative maintenance calls, all parts and supplies, and all labor charges.
