State of Origin in BI Tables
State of Origin in BI Tables
Overview
The information is generated by the FZ_ORIGIN_STATE function. Its logic is:
If there is a nation code in SOASUPL for the student, that will be used, first from a term where the person is FTIC or First-time transfer, then then first application term
If the citizenship description is Student Visa-Has or Needs Visa or Foreign National-No Visa Req'd,
If there is a nation code, it will be used, first from an IA address, then an MA address.
If there is no nation code in that first row, the state code from SOASUPL will be used. If none, then "!" will be used.
If the citizenship is other than Student Visa-Has or Needs Visa or Foreign National-No Visa Req'd,
If there is a state from SOASUPL, it will be used
If there is not a state in SOASUPL, the IA state will be used. If there is none, "!" will be used.
