Overview
Beginning May 31, 2022, Harding will no longer be offering centrally distributed streaming TV, DVR or cable TV over coax due to high costs.
Listed below are some online alternatives for TV viewing.
- Use a personal account from home – Many home TV providers like DirecTV, Dish or White County Cable have options where you can watch online or from a streaming device away from your home. Check with your home provider to see if this option is available.
- Use a streaming service (free or paid) – there are many streaming services available. This article will provide you with in-depth information in choosing the right service for your personal needs. https://clark.com/technology/tvsatellite-cable/best-streaming-tv-services/
FREE STREAMING SERVICES
These services can be watched on your computer, portable device or on your TV with a streaming device such as Roku, AppleTV, etc. Most of these services offer news, sports, weather, movies, etc. Explore each one to find something you like.
PAID STREAMING SERVICES
Paid streaming services offer more channels and choices. Most paid streaming services do not have any long-term contracts so you can use them from month-to-month and cancel at any time. You can use various streaming devices such as Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Chromecast, computers, tablets, etc.
